Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a multinational publicly traded company to identify a Senior Accounting Manager. This high impact opportunity will spearhead the US Accounting and focus on automation and process improvement initiatives.

Senior Accounting Manager’s Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls through accurate preparation, review, and approval of financial entries and reconciliations.
- Build and lead a high-performing team by setting clear goals, providing development opportunities, and offering ongoing feedback.
- Strengthen and enhance accounting processes and internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and alignment with corporate policies.
- Drive business transformation initiatives, including process improvements in reporting, procurement, cash automation, and ERP optimization.
- Collaborate with FP&A to improve financial reporting, analyze key financial fluctuations, and support strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and auditors to manage ad-hoc requests and ensure timely completion of audits and control testing.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting
- C.P.A., is preferred, but not required.
- 8+ years of total experience with at least 2+ years of management experience.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting and industry (at a publicly traded company).
- Experience establishing and implementing process improvement and automation initiatives.
