About the Job

A Kforce client in Amesbury, MA is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a divisional role supporting a $1B+ Manufacturing and Products Company. The Senior Accounting Manager reports to the Controller and will lead month end close, manage a team, and involved with implementing process automation for the business. Responsibilities include:

Senior Accounting Manager will be leading day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close process, including journal entries, inventory, reconciliations, analysis, and fixed assets
Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls
As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be involved with strategic projects and making recommendations for process automation and system enhancements
Assist with financial analysis and budgeting process
Assist with implementing and maintaining internal controls
Lead and manage an accounting team

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Advanced degree a plus
10-15 years of experience, with at least 4+ years supervisory
Manufacturing industry experience with understanding of inventory
Strong process automation skills
Proficient with large ERP system
Ability to lead and direct a team

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
