About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Finance Manager to lead critical accounting and financial operations. This role combines strategic planning, forecasting, and compliance with hands-on financial management to drive organizational success. Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee financial and accounting best practices, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead planning and forecasting initiatives to achieve strategic financial and investment goals.
• Maintain and update accounting systems to align with organizational needs.
• Review financial reports and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Prepare and analyze financial forecasts to develop strategies that address challenges and leverage opportunities.
• Evaluate revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to maximize profitability and ensure transparency.
• Collaborate with upper management to facilitate informed, long-term financial decision-making.
• Oversee payment processing for clients, vendors, and business partners.
• Manage accurate filing systems and maintain comprehensive financial records.
• Participate in professional development to enhance sector-specific financial operations and encourage similar growth within the team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in both accounting and finance functions.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue recognition processes (ASC 606).
• Knowledge of GAAP, risk management, and financial principles.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret financial models.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Essbase).
• Preferred systems experience: NetSuite, Bill.com, Salesforce.

Education and Experience:

• BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA license (preferred) or certifications such as CGFM, CFA, or FPAC (a plus).
• 3–5 years of managerial experience.
