About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Finance Manager to lead critical accounting and financial operations. This role combines strategic planning, forecasting, and compliance with hands-on financial management to drive organizational success. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, contribute to cross-departmental engagement, and demonstrate a strong ambition for growth, with the potential to advance to a VP-level role within five years.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee financial and accounting best practices, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead planning and forecasting initiatives to achieve strategic financial and investment goals.
- Maintain and update accounting systems to align with organizational needs.
- Review financial reports and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare and analyze financial forecasts to develop strategies that address challenges and leverage opportunities.
- Evaluate revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to maximize profitability and ensure transparency.
- Collaborate with upper management to facilitate informed, long-term financial decision-making.
- Oversee payment processing for clients, vendors, and business partners.
- Manage accurate filing systems and maintain comprehensive financial records.
- Participate in professional development to enhance sector-specific financial operations and encourage similar growth within the team.

- Blend of accounting and finance responsibilities.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Revenue recognition (ASC 606 compliance).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both accounting and finance functions.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue recognition processes (ASC 606).
- Knowledge of GAAP, risk management, and financial principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret financial models.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Essbase).
- Preferred systems experience: NetSuite, Bill.com, Salesforce.
Education and Experience:
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA license (preferred) or certifications such as CGFM, CFA, or FPAC (a plus).
- 3–5 years of managerial experience.
