Senior Corporate Accountant
The Senior Corporate Accountant plays a vital role in supporting the organization's corporate accounting and financial reporting functions. This position serves as a key partner to the regional accounting, revenue accounting, and FP&A teams, contributing to the company's success through various responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Maintain schedules, create journal entries for expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity accounts, and develop appropriate tracking and reporting mechanisms.
Cash Flow Statement Preparation: Utilize Workday and Adaptive tools to prepare the global Cash Flow Statement, ensuring alignment with underlying accounting records.
Process Improvements: Continuously improve processes within the scope of the position.
Technical Accounting: Ensure compliance with global accounting policies and support technical accounting initiatives, such as the implementation of new accounting standards.
Accounting Projects: Support the Controller's group in executing enterprise projects impacting the global accounting organization.
External Audit: Coordinate audit requests, prepare footnotes and financial disclosures, and maintain effective relationships with external auditors.
Information Systems: Possess knowledge of the Workday financial consolidation system and its capabilities.
Team Leadership: Emphasize high standards for accountability, collegiality, integrity, and professional pride.
Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with key finance and accounting leaders, actively propose solutions, and collaborate with operating and finance teams.
This opportunity requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong background in corporate accounting and financial reporting. The successful candidate will contribute to the company's financial operations and facilitate seamless collaboration across teams.
