A South Bay startup is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a number of activities related to month-end close, financial reporting, and the general ledger. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Must have public accounting experience
- CPA candidate or licensed
- Review bank activity and conduct reconciliation against cash to settle discrepancies
- Revenue reporting and recognition
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation
- Prepare lease schedules and entries
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Generate consolidated financial statements
- Perform technical research and prepare technical memos
- File sales and use and property taxes
