The journey begins here - with Global- a 1st Flagship Company, we are currently looking for a Senior Accounting Technician.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting in the preparation of contract requirement reports, Work Orders, Status of Funds by ACRN, Projection Reports and other Contracting Office Representative (COR) requirements.
- Maintaining data entry across multiple accounting systems in a fast-paced financial office.
- Auditing financial documents, multi-tasking, and preparing bi-weekly government vouchers that document all company expenditures, ensuring accuracy.
- Adhering to corporate core values, policies, and procedures in the execution of all responsibilities.
- Supporting time-keeping entries and payroll preparation.
- Utilizing Accounts Payable and Purchasing Systems, maintaining Public Vouchers, and inputting into the WAWF payment system.
- Understanding Job Cost accounting and managing various voucher filing systems.
- Processing travel claims, validating charges, and closing out travel documents, ensuring complete documentation and accurate reimbursement.
- Assisting in the preparation of contract requirement reports, Work Orders, ARCNs, and supporting Contracting Office Representative (COR) Projection Reports.
- Working effectively with co-workers in a professional manner, contributing to a positive and collaborative office environment.
**This is an onsite position Monday-Friday with a 7a-3:30p schedule**
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum:
- Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with three (3) years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and personal computer operation.
- Strong accounting, mathematics, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred:
- Experience working with Purchasing.
- Familiarity with government contracts.
