Job Summary :
The Accounting Manager role will work side by side with the company's owner, who runs the shop and field operations. Prior electric and industry experience is not required, however, prior experience in managing individuals and experience in a service-based business is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Office Management -
- Handle administrative support including HR (hiring, terminating, payroll, onboarding, training new staff members, etc..,
- IT support including troubleshooting when issues arise and operational duties about managing the office: creating policies and procedures for office operations
- Manage fellow staff members including offering guidance, delegating duties, coaching, and implementing disciplinary actions as needed.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and fixed assets
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate financial statements
- Prepare and present financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses to senior management
- Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal control to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Share vendor management duties with the company owner
Qualifications:
Required -
- Excellent leadership skills including honor, integrity, ethics, and the ability to naturally lead others
- Experience with accounting functions and principles
- Proven track record of effectively managing cost and maximizing profits for business
- Previous office management including directly managing office staff members
- Excellent attention to details
- Understanding of inventory management systems
- Familiarity with best practices and lean manufacturing principles
- Bachelors in Accounting, finance, or related field
- Experience in service-based industry

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90,000.00 - $10,000.00 Per Year
