Title: Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting
Location: Onsite within the Northeastern Region
Description:
The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, plays a vital role in ensuring accurate SEC filings and supporting lease accounting processes. This position involves close collaboration with finance, operational teams, and senior management while contributing to the preparation of financial statements and statutory audits. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist with financial reporting functions, including supporting financial statement footnotes and analytics.
Oversee lease accounting processes, including contract reviews, creation of amortization schedules, and monthly journal entries.
Assist in preparing information for annual audits, quarterly reviews, and statutory audits.
Collaborate with external auditors during audit and review processes.
Work with finance and operational teams to refine financial reporting and lease accounting policies.
Develop expertise in company accounting systems, such as JD Edwards (JDE) and Hubble reporting software.
Perform special projects and analyses for senior management as needed.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or Master's degree preferred).
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public company or public accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of SEC, GAAP, and SOX compliance requirements.
Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
Self-motivated and proactive with keen attention to detail.
Desired Skills:
Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) and Hubble reporting software.
Ability to travel and work extended hours as required.

Compensation:
Pay range: $80.5k-$115k/year
