Senior Accountant - PEG Staffing & Recruiting

Are you an experienced accounting professional with 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience looking to make a career jump? A leading engineering company in St. Louis, County is hiring a Senior Accountant for an onsite direct hire opportunity!

What You'll Do as Senior Accountant:

• Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly commission calculations and reporting.
• Collaborate with external auditors to fulfill audit requests and maintain compliance with required deadlines.
• Work closely with the Controller and CFO.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in an engineering or project-based environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Epicor or Business Central, is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical capabilities to support company initiatives.
