Job Description: Senior Accountant

Location: South Bend, Indiana

Salary: $80,000-$100,000

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Collaborate with management to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and assist with audits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
