The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of financial procedures, including monthly closing processes, managing account statements, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of our monthly financial close process. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing and preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with company policy and GAAP.
- Lead the financial forecasting process, including revenue and expenditure trends, and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures, as well as regulatory compliance.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end audits and coordinate with external auditors as necessary.
- Continuously evaluate current accounting practices and policies and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with team members across the organization to support overall department goals and objectives.
Job Details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or professional certification such as a CPA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proven experience with financial forecasting and risk analysis.
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
