Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary: 

The Senior Accountant plays a vital role in Pipeline Health’s operations. Responsible to manage, coordinate, oversee, aggregate, compile, and reconcile all accounting, general ledger, and financial statement entries, including reconciliations between all Pipeline Health affiliated facilities and Pipeline Health’s Corporate entities. This position will be responsible to establish procedures, formulation and/or enhancement of internal control systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of these areas of the Hospitals’ financial statements. Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health, upholding standards of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) patient communication.

Qualifications/Experience: 

• Must have three (3) to five (5) years of senior level accounting and familiarity with acute care hospital accounting. Managerial experience within the acute hospital or similarly related setting will be helpful.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills.
• A capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, place patients and families first, and collaborate with the team members who are recognized leaders within health care.

Education: 

• Minimum of an Associates degree in Accounting or similarly related business emphasis, required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent Business Administration Degree from and accredited university, preferred.
