Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and financial forecasting.
- Prepare and present financial reports in accordance with GAAP, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Implement, manage, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
- Perform financial audits, prepare audit reports, and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement strategies for cost savings and financial efficiency.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
- Assist in the development of the budget and financial plans for the company.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Use QuickBooks to manage financial processes and generate reports.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's leaders to help them make sound business decisions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and current financial legislation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the technology industry.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
