Salary: $85,000 - $93,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making
• Oversee budget preparation and variance analysis
• Develop forecasts using historical data and current market trends to project financial performance of company
• Perform account analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide insights into operational efficiency and financial performance
• Assist in required government accounting reports and coordinate city, county, state and federal agencies
• Manage one junior accounting staff, responsible for AP, AR, and data entry

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or related area of study
• 4+ years relevant work experience in corporate accounting and financial analysis and reporting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
• Prior experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry a plus
• Demonstrated understanding of full cycle AP process
• Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite Products and SEQUEL based accounting systems
