The Company is headquartered in West Jordan, Utah, and distributes consumable products across 1,300 SKUs from two strategically located distribution centers. They utilizes a proprietary cloud-based inventory management and business intelligence software solution to help its customers gain supply chain efficiencies and decrease their plasma collection costs. Plasma-derived therapeutics like IVIG, Albumin and Factor VIII treat immunodeficiency diseases, neurological disorders and hematology conditions.

Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and success of our organization. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing and controlling the company's financial processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing accurate and timely financial reports and statements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: Fixed Assets, Prepaid Assets, Accrued Expenses, General Ledger, Payroll, Taxes and Financial Reporting
2. Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
3. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely completion and presentation.
4. Ensure compliance with all internal processes and controls as well as compliance with GAAP.
5. Monitor and manage the company's fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, payroll, inventory, and sales tax.
6. Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures.
7. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
8. Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of best practices in the finance team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Provide support for audits and external reviews as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of solid accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
3. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including but not limited to Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, Accrued Expenses, payroll, inventory, sales tax, month-end close, financial statements, financial reports, and GAAP.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and experience with accounting software.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with great accuracy, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
