Job Details
This is a brand-new role created to support the company's growth. This role is based out of our New York Headquarters, is a hybrid position (2-3 days in office).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries related to revenue, receivables, and leases.
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of all revenue-related accounts.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis between actuals and budget, and provide clear explanations for variances.
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure all revenue-related items are properly supported and documented.
- Prepare leasing schedules and oversee all aspects of lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842.
- Manage accounts receivable, billing, and collections processes.
- Develop and maintain revenue forecasts and participate in ad hoc financial analysis as required.
- Ensure compliance with all revenue recognition requirements under US GAAP and ASC 606.
- Utilize ERP and CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce) for reporting and data analysis.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting (CPA is a plus)
- 4+ years of experience
- Public & Private accounting background
