Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Tuscon, AZ or Nogales, AZ
Salary: $70,000- $100,000
Requirements: Manufacturing/ Cost Accounting / GAPP

Job Details
1. Oversee all daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and systems.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight on company's financial standing and to support business decisions.
4. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to company's financial planning.
5. Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities.
6. Develop and implement effective internal controls to enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.
7. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
8. Continually improve accounting practices and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
9. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to manage financial aspects of the company.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in accounting or a related field, preferably in the medical industry.
3. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, account reconciliation, and general ledger.
4. Proficient in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
5. Excellent understanding of accounting principles, laws, standards, and regulations.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. High level of proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
10. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
11. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
