OVERVIEW OF THE REVENUE ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Manage and ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
• Review contracts to identify performance obligations and determine proper revenue accounting treatment.
• Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries and reconciliations for revenue-related accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Operations, to review agreements and resolve revenue-related inquiries.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparing revenue schedules and disclosures.
• Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and addressing inquiries related to revenue.
• Drive process improvements and automation for revenue-related accounting processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE REVENUE ACCOUNTANT:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on revenue recognition.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software.
