Senior Accountant - Piscataway, NJ - Foley Inc.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• Responsible for calculating and managing gross profit analysis for Construction sales and Rental business. 
• Monthly commission calculation and management of the company commission app including monthly commission accruals.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation including suspense accounts, inventory audits and accrual reconciliations.
• Manage cost associated with Capital projects.
• Manage Fixed Asset, depreciation, disposal include free-text-invoice, capitalization
• Timely preparation for Project CFO and PWC reporting
• Timely D365 posting, including reclass entries, equipment cost adjustments
• Continually looking to improve/enhance processes for efficiency
• Year-end audit – prepare analysis, work with auditors
• As needed, backup support for Assistant Controller.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience and knowledge of general business practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
• Strong time management skills, ability to work independently and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point and other related software.
