The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 3 years of experience in a CPA firm. This role will also require the candidate to develop and supervise team members. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents.
- Analyze financial reports.
- Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting.
- Perform audit functions for both internal and external purposes.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring that all customer queries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
- Develop and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures.
- Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a CPA firm.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
- Strong understanding of tax codes and laws.
- Proficiency in major accounting software programs, such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to maintain and develop client relationships.
