Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the hospitals financial health. You will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. This position offers the chance to work alongside a supportive team and forward-thinking leadership in a rewarding healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare-specific accounting regulations.
• Collaborate with department leaders to monitor and manage budgets.
• Assist with audits and prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to hospital leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
