Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing/fast-paced organization on the East side of the Twin Cities, is seeking a Senior Accountant to fill a key support role within their General Accounting Department. This position requires solid accounting experience combined with strong analytical and communication skills.

Senior Accountant Deliverables

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and lead schedules to support monthly closing processes
• Perform routine and ad-hoc analyses of account activity, business operations, etc.
• Protect the Company’s integrity by keeping Company all information highly confidential.

Senior Accountant Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field with accounting coursework
• Senior Accountant needs 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in project based environment a plus
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience utilizing accounting systems is required for this Senior Accountant role
• Demonstrate detail-orientation with excellent ability to analyze and interpret data
• The right Senior Accountant possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the Company
• Demonstrate excellent computational skills with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities
• Willingness to learn and work in all areas of the business as needs dictate
