Senior Accountant

A prominent nonprofit dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of children, families, and communities for over 100 years is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The Senior Accountant will become a part of a passionate, collaborative team with a clear trajectory for growth and promotions. Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Financial Reporting, pulling information from the general ledger and comparing grant requirements
• Year over year variance analysis
• Assisting audit and month end closing activities
• Collaborate with a dynamic team, offering innovative ideas to improve efficiency.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by Assistant Controller & Controller

Experience Preferred for the Senior Accountant:

• 2+ years of Accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
• Passion for working in a mission-driven, nonprofit environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with software’s such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Power Bi is a plus
