Senior Accountant from Foster McKay

Our client, a luxury fashion brand located in New York City, NY, is seeking a Senior Accountant on a temporary basis to assist with a Sales Tax Audit as well as month and year end closings.

The qualified Accountant will possess their CPA and prior audit experience. 

***This role will be in office. ***

Responsibilities:

• Manage the completion of New York State sales tax audit – gathers audit support, vendor outreach
• Support the annual audit – preparing reconciliations and gathering audit support
• Preparation of month-end accounting reconciliations
• Support the month-end financial close including month-end closing processes

Experience and Qualifications:

• Accounting Degree with experience in USGAAP
• 3 - 5 years of experience, a mix of private and Big Four preferred
• Microsoft Office proficient with advanced skills in Excel
• Fashion/Apparel industry experience preferred but not required
