Job Details
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
Process customer payments and transactions.
Generate and submit invoices.
Manage customer files and correspondence for past-due accounts.
Prepare reports on customer account status.
Reconcile revenue accounts monthly.
Accounts Payable:
Record and process payables daily, ensuring accurate coding.
Validate vendor charges and related information.
Process vendor payments weekly.
Maintain vendor information in the ERP system.
Drive continuous improvement in A/P functions.
Audit, create, and file annual 1099s.
Fixed Assets Management:
Record and monitor fixed assets, assigning tag numbers.
Reconcile fixed asset subsidiary ledger.
Review and update detailed schedules of fixed assets.
Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors.
General Ledger:
Prepare and review month-end journal entries.
Follow internal accounting procedures.
Collaborate with the accounting team.
Assist with Sales Tax and Use filing.
Prepare special financial reports.
Document financial transactions.
Payroll:
Assist with complete payroll processing and reconciliation.
Initiate payroll journal entries.
Create payroll reports on a regular basis.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of proven accounting experience.
1-2 years of payroll experience desired.
Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Sage 100.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Strong understanding of US GAAP.
