Job Details
As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Coordinating and completing annual audits and reviews.
3. Preparing and managing company financial statements for internal and external purposes.
4. Conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
5. Analyzing financial reports and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.
6. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes.
7. Coordinating with the tax department to prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
8. Reviewing all financial statements and ledgers, and working with the accounting team to clear up any discrepancies.
9. Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies.
10. Overseeing and managing the company’s expense management system to ensure timely expense reporting and reimbursement.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
2. A minimum of 2 years of Accounting experience
3. Proven experience in managing general ledger activities, accounts payable and receivable, tax filing, and expense management.
4. In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Strong proficiency in MS Office and accounting software. Knowledge of advanced Excel functions is a must.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
