Responsibilities
Evaluate subsidiary journals for errors and omissions and enter corrected data into the general ledger.
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
Prepare and enter monthly and one-off journal entries.
Process month-end reports for management review.
Track fixed asset additions, sales, disposals, and records necessary depreciation entries.
Interact with financial and non-financial internal customers to promote adherence to internal controls.
Analyze existing processes and propose/implement process improvements.
Other duties and special projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least two years of manufacturing experience required
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to interact and communicate with upper-level management on a daily basis
