Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's
financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and industry-specific standards.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed to foster their professional development.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and address any audit findings in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on manufacturing accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience supervising and developing accounting staff.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Integrity and ethical conduct, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism in financial reporting.
