About the Job
A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate also has good collaborating skills when working with other team members. Senior Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Performs a wide range of complex and routine month end close processes.
- Month-end close activities include preparation of account reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, accrual schedules.
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies within the transaction tax general ledger accounts.
- Application of accounting standards and practices in accordance with accounting standards, policy, and local country requirements.
- Participate in annual audit by preparing reconciliations, roll-forwards, and other related analyses.
- Participate in special projects as deemed necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5-yearsÂ’ experience in accounting for a similar-sized company ($600M+)
- BachelorÂ’s degree with focus/concentration in accounting
- CPA license nice to have
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in accounting from an accredited institution preferred.
- Experience working in a global organization preferably with manufacturing and/or distribution activities.
- Understands distributor agreements and the associated accounting.
- SAP and/or Blackline experience preferred.
