We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Accountant to join our team. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining the best of both in-office and remote work environments. You will play an integral role in our Finance team, helping to shape the financial health of our fast-growing startup in the Fintech industry. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
1. Overseeing and managing all general ledger accounting activities.
2. Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
3. Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
4. Conducting detailed financial accounting procedures, including monthly and annual financial closings, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
5. Collaborating with other departments to streamline and improve financial processes.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting software systems for increased efficiency.
7. Providing leadership and guidance to junior accounting staff, if needed.
8. Staying updated with industry trends and current accounting standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Accountant position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
2. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is preferred.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in general ledger accounting, internal controls, and account reconciliation.
4. Strong knowledge and understanding of financial accounting principles and procedures.
5. Experience with SaaS or Fintech is highly desirable but not required.
6. Proven ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations, and work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Experience with various accounting software is essential.
8. Leadership experience is a plus but not required.
9. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
10. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
