About the Job
Assist with the financial month-end close which includes creating and posting journal entries, creating reports based on final results, and distribution of those reports to management. Maintain detailed support schedules of balance sheet accounts and complete account reconciliations. In addition, review and analyze financial reports, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, manufacturing variance reports, or other financial reports assigned to include accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Assists with budgeting and forecasting. Support internal/external audit activities including preparation of audit schedules. Prepares and reviews variance reports, ad hoc reporting, and projects as assigned. Assist in developing policies and internal accounting controls to ensure adherence to standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
BBA Degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years’ experience in Accounting including ERP software, CPA is a plus. Financial statement preparation and analysis Budgeting and forecasting experience. Cost Accounting experience is a plus. Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management, operations and internal & external customers. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and interact effectively in a team environment.
Core Competencies: Computer literate/friendly, strong work ethic, attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Advanced Excel skills required including advanced experience in Pivot Tables. Experience with large ERP applications, i.e. Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, LN Manufacturing required. Working knowledge of Consolidation systems, i.e. OneStream, BPC, Hyperion is a plus.
