Integrative Emergency Services, LLC (“IES”) is looking for a Senior Accountant. This role will reconcile accounts and prepare financial information used by management to evaluate the performance of the business. Responsible for serving as a key contributor in the finance department and ensuring the department creates accurate and timely financial records for the organization. Will partner closely with clients, maintaining open communication and assisting with projects and audits. Having a CPA or working towards one would be a plus. Hybrid work schedule, Tuesday-Thursday, at the corporate office in Dallas, TX, 75244

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Record and maintain revenue and Accounts Receivable accounts.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare work papers for month end close.
- Prepare invoices to be billed to outside parties.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and prepaid schedules.
- Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of payroll entries.
- Monitor and assist with the establishment of internal controls.
- Prepare monthly financial statements to be reviewed by management.
- Analyze accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards defined within the department.
- Work with the accounting manager on appropriate fiscal strategies for the organization.
- Review records of accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Develop systems for the maintenance of financial records, making use of current technologies.
- Create forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.
- Partner with senior leadership to design, plan and implement creative, best-in-class financial initiatives and solutions.
- Build credible, trusted relationships with senior leadership to understand their budget needs, challenges and business objectives.
- Analyze complex financial reports and records.
- Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
- Review journal entries of other department members to ensure accuracy.
- Train junior staff as needed.
- Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
- Assist with financial, billing and tax audits.
- Assist in the preparation of client budgets for review by management.
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the finance team or with other departments.
- Identify and constantly refine accounting process for areas of improvement to drive operational efficiency.
- Mentor and develop team members so that they may contribute to their maximum potential.
- Utilize and become an expert user and administrator of applicable accounting and related software.

Education / Experience: Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or related field
- At least 3 years related accounting experience
- Familiarity with Accounting software programs (NetSuite a plus)
Preferred:
- CPA
- Public accounting experience
- Healthcare industry experience
