Senior Accountant - Aventura FL - Fitness 

Our team is working with a leading supplement & wellness company developing a health protocol transforming athletic performance looking to hire a Senior Accountant to their growing team. This opportunity is open due to massive growth through social media presence & results within their E-Commerce platform. The company has grown to 160M in three years. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization. 
 

  Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile all GL accounts including bank and credit card accounts

• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded timely and accurately

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Assist with review of financial statements and perform variance analysis

• Assist in preparation of tax filings

• Assist with special projects

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes

• Assist with external auditors’ requests

• Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance or related field

• 1-2 years of public accounting experience preferred

• Big 4 experience desired but not required

• Experience in ecommerce industry preferred

• ERP implementation experience preferred

• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Procedures (GAAP)

• Working knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online

• Experience with larger accounting software (Netsuite, Dynamics, Great Plains, etc.)

• Proficient knowledge of entire MS Office Suite

• Ability to work with multiple legal entities

• Working knowledge of inventory and fixed asset accounting

• Exposure to revenue recognition policies
