Senior Accountant
Mint Cannabis, a fully licensed multi-state cannabis operator, is seeking a full time Senior Accountant.
The individual in this role will perform the daily, weekly, and monthly coding of business transactions, as
well as directly prepare month end close. This individual should recommend ways to improve internal
accounting processes that align with both internal efficiencies and reporting needs of the C-Suite,
lenders, and investors.
Who you are:

General Duties:
- Preparation of Daily Cash Entries and Bank Reconciliations
- Complete month end close and all related journal entries
- Review accounts payable aging and ensure records are up to date
- Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Reconcile intercompany balances
- Maintenance of Month End supporting schedules
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is desired, but strong corporate experience will be
- Minimum of 3 years of general ledger and month end close or related experience is required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a multi-entity organization with substantial intercompany
- Must be proficient in Excel, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online
- Prior cannabis industry experience preferred
