Senior Accountant - Growth Potential! - Nesco Resource, LLC

Our manufacturing client seeks a Senior Accountant to join its team in the Danbury area. This role will report directly to the VP of Finance and be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions. There is a plan in place for growth and promotion into the Controller position!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee the general ledger and accounting records.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage fixed assets accounting and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support budgeting, and forecasting, and assist with external audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-6 years accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• ERP knowledge, advanced excell skills.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
