Senior Accountant - GROWTH opportunity - Creative Financial Staffing

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with fast growing manufacturing/technology company to identify a SeniorAccountant to join their team. • The company is in a growth mode and recently expanded their product offerings.
• The Senior Accountant position will play a key role in the growth and expansion of the finance and accounting department.
• The Senior Accountant will not only focus on day-to-day accounting but will also be exposed to cost accounting.
• This position will pay between $90-110K for the right person.

The Senior Accountant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Compile and analyze financial data for liability, asset, and capital accounts.
• Prepare financial reports including profit and loss statements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and manage financial reporting
• Assist in month-end closing by preparing necessary journal entries and analyzing inventory evaluations.
• Assist with company-wide budgeting reports and participate in the budgeting process.
• Maintain product cost metrics such as Standard Costs and Actual Costs, ensuring manufacturing cost margins are met.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard and actual costs.

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of general accounting experience.
• Cost accounting experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems like Oracle NetSuite.
• Thorough understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills; ability to manage confidential information and interpret data.
