Senior Accountant

OPENING DUE TO PROMOTION! Our client, a well-established, growing international manufacturer with operations in central North Carolina, has an immediate need for Senior Accountant. Reporting to the Division Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in the accounting/finance operations of the company. Will also provide support to the finance team by providing financial data to company leaders. (Hybrid workplace.)

Responsibilities include:

• Various general accounting duties including: monthly closings, accruals, account analysis and variance analysis.
• Process financial transactions for general ledger.
• Consolidation and aggregation of financial statements.
• Prepare audit workpapers and interact with external auditors.
• Provide timely, accurate and effective reporting and analysis of general and manufacturing accounting activities.
• Work with data providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.
• Ad-hoc projects and analysis and/or duties as assigned.
