Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
Provide financial information to management by conducting research and analyzing accounting data, and then preparing reports.
Assist cost center managers in preparing annual budgets, latest estimates, and business plans for their respective areas. Offer analysis and interpretation of financial data, including expenditure details, to monitor cost center performance and alignment with agreed-upon budgets.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by gathering and analyzing account information.
Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events meticulously and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Maintain a strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations, ensuring that all work complies with and adheres to these regulations, as required by our client's policies.
Implement and apply internal controls and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Review and process journal entries into various accounts while conducting variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations using analytical and problem-solving skills.
Support the annual audit process, including substantiating financial transactions with proper documentation for auditing purposes and providing necessary support for testing at the activity level and within the area of responsibility.
Process and understand foreign exchange currency transactions and concepts.
Exercise administrative judgment and take responsibility for decisions, consequences, and outcomes that impact people, costs, and the quality of service within the functional area.
