Job Details
Responsibilities:
Review General Ledger Accounts and Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
- Conduct thorough reviews of General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Month End Journal Entries:
- Prepare and process month-end journal entries to accurately record financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing procedures.
ASC 842 Compliance:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of ASC 842 (Accounting Standards Codification) and its implications on the company's financial statements.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the necessary processes for ASC 842 compliance.
Fixed Assets, Prepaids, and Financial Reporting:
- Manage fixed assets and prepaid expenses, ensuring proper accounting treatment and depreciation schedules.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements, providing accurate and reliable data.
Audit Schedules:
- Prepare audit schedules and support auditors during the annual financial audit process.
- Maintain organized and well-documented audit documentation for review.
Software Expertise:
- Experience with Oracle R12/Fusion is a plus, and the ability to effectively utilize software systems to streamline accounting processes.
Industry Knowledge:
- A preference for candidates with prior experience in the Software industry.
- Openness to considering candidates from other high-tech sectors such as semiconductors, telecommunications, internet, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is advantageous.
- 5-10 Years experience in Corporate Accounting/GL functions and 2 years in Public Accounting.
- Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on Enterprise Software or related high-tech industries.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), General Ledger and Fixed Assets
- Proficiency in conducting variance analysis and reconciliations.
