About the Job
Job Description
Invoice clients monthly/quarterly/annually, send any past due notices
Calculate deferred revenue, depreciation monthly
Keep track of prepaid assets, accrued liabilities monthly
Post cash activity from bank to general ledger daily
Post customer payments received to A/R records
Calculate third party commissions, such as to Allied
Review employee credit card activity monthly, post to correct g/l account
Make sure intercompany due to/due from are in balance monthly
Reconcile customer sales tax payments, paid to states by Avalara monthly
Assist with Accounting Departments special projects (including audit support)
Assist Director of FP&A with special projects (such as budget/forecast updates)
Reports to: Director of Accounting/Controller

Skills and Requirements
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficient with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams (database software, Avalara, CONCUR, Salesforce a plus)
Knowledge of ERP or QuickBooks (desktop/enterprise version)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state and local tax regulations
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and audit standards
Required to have a bachelors degree in accounting, or finance
2 years minimum experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Financial Statements MBA preferred but not required
CPA preferred but not required null
