About the Job
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to preparing and reviewing SEC fillings, journal entries, reconciliations and 10-K and 10-Q . This role focuses on ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and enhancing processes, will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements according to SEC and maintaining accurate financial reporting.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the go-to resource for specific accounting areas like stock compensation and revenue recognition.
- Support Activities: Assist in audits, support Investor Relations, and evaluate transactions or new regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related area.
- Certification: CPA or CPA in progress.
- Experience: 4+ years in accounting, ideally with public accounting exposure or industry mix.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with any large ERP software is desired.
