Senior Accountant - PEG Staffing & Recruiting

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our multi-unit business with accounting, reporting, and internal control functions. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for monthly general ledger close, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, fixed asset management, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post general ledger entries and perform reconciliations for month-end close.
• Record payroll activities and maintain fixed asset records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct variance analysis, accounting research, and recommend treatments.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and US GAAP.
• Develop and enhance accounting processes, procedures, and controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with fixed assets and internal controls.
