Job Details:
We are seeking a Permanent Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join our team in the Healthcare industry. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the healthcare sector, has a strong understanding of accounting principles, and is experienced in financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our financial department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and contributing to the overall financial strategy of our company.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
2. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial reports and disclosures.
3. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and consolidations.
4. Prepare and file SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q) in a timely manner.
5. Use Workiva and XBRL for financial reporting and compliance.
6. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits and reviews.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
8. Participate in special projects and perform ad hoc analysis as required.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
10. Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably in the healthcare industry.
3. Proficient in SEC reporting requirements and filings (10-K, 10-Q).
4. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with reconciliations and consolidations.
5. Experience with Workiva and XBRL for financial reporting and compliance.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
