We're looking for an experienced accountant to join our team, in which you'll be responsible for managing a full spectrum of accounting duties, from end-of-month reconciliation, maintaining the GL, EOM / EOY close, to generating vendor invoices. Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Managing end-of-month reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
2. Conducting bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
3. Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
4. Generating vendor invoices and overseeing the accounts payable process.
5. Overseeing full lifecycle accounting, from initial entries to final reports.
6. Collaborating with other finance team members to streamline financial operations and improve financial reporting.
7. Identifying and implementing opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
8. Assisting with annual audits and tax preparations.
9. Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and external regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the sales industry.
3. Proficiency in Great Plains Software or equivalent accounting software is preferred.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
9. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in business matters.
