Job Details
We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant with extensive experience in full cycle accounting to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, including but not limited to maintaining the business ledger, preparing financial statements, tax returns, and handling complex transactions. Responsibilities:
- Oversee Accounts Payable processing, including year-end 1099/1096 reporting.
- Manage Accounts Receivable processing, including communication with customers for follow-up.
- Handle Sales/Use tax returns.
- Perform General Ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare bank statements.
- Manage Property Tax Returns.
- Coordinate with CPA firm to facilitate preparation of our Corporate Tax Return.
- Serve as backup for payroll processing when necessary.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly Financial Statements.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Coordinate tasks with external experts.
- Collect information for auditing purposes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in full cycle accounting through financial statements, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field OR Bookkeeping Certification
- At least 2 years of experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns for an S-Corp.
- Ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines.
- Strong understanding of relevant accounting and regulatory standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 products, with experience in using an ERP system highly preferred.
- Organized, accurate, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communicator.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever necessary.
