Responsibilities:
1. Ensure subsidiary ledgers and records agree with General Ledgers and overall financial records and reports. You will be responsible for maintaining accuracy and integrity in our financial data.
2. Perform General Ledger Account Reconciliations to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting.
3. Manage the 'month-end close' process, ensuring all financial data is accounted for and reported in a timely manner.
4. Handle acquisition accounting, providing vital support during company mergers or acquisitions.
5. Monitor Cash Flow, keeping an eye on company expenditures and income, and making sure there are always sufficient funds for operation.
6. Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring our records align with bank statements and resolving any discrepancies.
7. Prepare and analyze Financial Statements, providing insights into company performance and financial health.
8. Use your years of accounting and finance experience to improve processes, provide financial advice, and support the overall goals of the organization.
Qualifications:
1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, demonstrating a progression in responsibility.
3. Proven experience with the responsibilities listed above, particularly with general ledger account reconciliations, 'month-end close', acquisition accounting, cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to spot errors and discrepancies in financial data.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
7. Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. A proactive problem-solver who can identify issues and implement effective solutions.
9. A team player with a positive attitude, who is ready to contribute to our collaborative work environment.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of accounting and finance.
