Job Details
Our dynamic organization is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in accounting who is looking to make a significant impact in a thriving industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
1. Processing month-end journal entries in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Reconciling balance sheet accounts, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
3. Performing income statement analysis and providing relevant financial data to the management team.
4. Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries.
5. Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
6. Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial procedures.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the medical industry.
3. Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statements.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
