Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment in the technology industry, where you will be able to make a significant impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.
2. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
3. Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention.
4. Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.
5. Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits.
6. Conduct regular ledger activities to ensure accuracy and conformity with both company standards and GAAP.
7. Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
8. Participate in preparation for the annual audit.
9. Develop and implement robust financial systems, processes, and controls.
10. Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other related tools.
6. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
7. Strong written and oral communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
10. Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports.
11. Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
