The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in accounting and finance, with a deep understanding of both bookkeeping for clients and taxes. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced professionals and directly contribute to the financial success of a diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of our clients' accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger, closing, financial reporting, and taxes
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and adhere to all ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the CPA profession.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries and concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in tax laws to ensure compliance and provide clients with the most current and accurate information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification is a plus, not required
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a CPA firm.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in bookkeeping for clients and taxes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
