Senior Accountant/ Cost Accountant at KBW Financial

KBW Financial has partnered with a well-established organization based out of Framingham, MA that is actively looking to add a Senior Accountant/Cost Accountant to their growing team! The Senior Accountant/Cost Accountant will report to the Global Controller, and assist with GL reconciliations, month end close duties, and cost accounting functions. The Senior Accountant/Cost Accountant will perform the following: 

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the general ledger and support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Ensure accurate recording of monthly accruals
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Generate daily and weekly production reports
• Update and manage fixed asset and CIP schedules
• Perform physical inventories and cycle count procedures
• Conduct the annual standard cost roll-up process
• Support weekly payroll processing and tax filings, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
• Examine financial data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement
